Hermann Oak Natural Belt Bends
This bend is the premium part of the hide (where we've cut off the belly and shoulder, leaving you with the most uniform section of leather), excellent for belts and straps! Most will cut between 16 to 18 1.5" strips averaging 52" to 60" long. If you want to have the best, quite simply, this is it. Bends will never have a hole, however a scar or two, a few range marks or some scud might be visible. We try to limit blemishes to the outer edges or a scar that could run horizontally that will not affect more than one strap width. Â Every side of leather is unique, as it is a natural product and each bend will showcase the beautiful variation of Hermann Oak veg tan leather. Whether you are making belts or carving pictures this leather will make you look good!Â
Â
Since 1881, Hermann Oak has been tanning top-grain leather right here in Missouri. St. Louis-based, the company prides itself on its slow and careful tanning process. A process that produces the finest top-grain stamping and tooling leather in the world. The Hermann Oak name has become synonymous with high quality!
