Great for braiding, used in drum making, furniture repair, etc. Just soak in water for 20-30 minutes, or until lace becomes pliable and easy to work with. But, remember...a most interesting property about rawhide lace is that when it is stretched around an object, it tries to shrink back to its original length as it dries.
